About Us

Mike and Marie are highly regarded amongst the Australian rural fraternity and pride themselves on the relationships they have built within the industry over the past six decades.

They are known within the industry for being genuine and down to earth. They are very proud of the loyalty they share with their long-standing employees and have enjoyed being able to support them and their families’ growth both personally and within the business over many years.

From the beginnings of Gunnadorah, Quilpie, in the early 1970’s, Mike and Marie have owned and operated numerous properties across Queensland and the Northern Territory, employed hundreds of staff and bought and sold thousands of sheep and cattle.

They have successfully done this all while navigating the highs and lows of such a market and climate driven industry.

Patrick is Mike and Marie’s second son. He has had exposure to a broad cross-section of the cattle industry from breeding, finishing, transporting and feed-lotting, focussing predominately on the family’s extensive grazing operations in western Queensland. He now runs the operational side of the northern properties and travels extensively between each property, being actively engaged in their day to day management.

Patrick’s wife Sarah, a lawyer by trade, runs the office and administration side of the business and is a proud mum to their three lovely girls.
